JUTIL is the Unicode Translator for Indian Languages. The aim of this effort is to ensure that
special keyboards are not required for compiling documents in Indian languages.
Traditionally, Translators for Indian Languages have used ITRANS transliteration schemes
and JUTIL also is built around these premises, to comply with these standards and
to take advantage of the numerous documents created in this scheme. There are plans
to add plug-ins for dhvani a text to speech
engine inside JUTIL.
